I've had my locks almost a year now and its been the best time of my life!!! Before my locks I was a press and curl girl, for 6 years every 2 weeks Wednesday at 2:00pm I had an standing appointment. I can't say that I ever missed a week. I found my hair so difficult to style myself so I paid someone else to do it. I got so tired of looking the same way straight with a part on the side. BORING!!! So last summer I started trying new things. The last straw for me was when I tried pressing my hair myself and burned out a little patch in the back of my head. That picture is the patch I burned out. I love those locks so cute yet so funny. Its just a reminder of my struggles with my hair. Anyways I went to bed that night and woke up the next morning and said mom I want locks.
So in 3 days (because I wasn't paying) my mom, Atoya, and Robin worked on my hair. I am now apart of a locked family my dad whose hair is the oldest, then my brother, my mom, and then me. On 8-18-08, 8-21-08 and 8-22-08 A STAR WAS BORN!!!
